3x - y = 0

The equation of the given line is 3x − y = 0.
∴ 3x − y = 0
⇒ y = 3x ...(1)
Putting x = 0 in (1), we get
y = 3 × 0
y = 0
Putting x = 1 in (1), we get
y = 3 × 1
y = 3
Putting x = −1 in (1), we get
y = 3 × (−1)
y = −3
Putting x = 2 in (1), we get
y = 3 × 2
y = 6
These values can be represented in the table in the form of ordered pairs as follows:

y | 0 | 3 | -3 | 6 |
(x, y) | (0, 0) | (1, 3) | (-1, -3) | (2, 6) |
The line is the graph of the equation 3x − y = 0.
