प्रश्न
Explain the following:
Covalent compounds have low melting and boiling point.
उत्तर
Covalent compounds have low melting and boiling point because the intermolecular forces of attraction among the molecules of covalent compounds are weak. Hence very small amount of heat energy is required to overcome the attraction between the molecules.
