प्रश्न
Find the slope of a line perpendicular to the foloowing line 3x - 5y = 9
उत्तर
When two lines are perpendicular to each other the product of their slope is -1.
i.e m1 x m2 = -1
3x - 5y = 9
y = `3/5"x" - 9/5`
m1 = `3/5`
Slope of required line (m2) = `(-1)/"m"_1 = (-5)/3`
