The Rainy season unfolds from June to September, bringing with it a refreshing coolness and the necessary moisture for crops such as Bajra, Peanuts, Corn, and Soybean to flourish. During these months, the landscape is washed anew, and the air is filled with the petrichor of fresh rains. People adjust to the rainy weather, typically carrying umbrellas and raincoats as they develop the wet streets and fields.
Winter lasts from October to January, bringing cooler and drier weather. This is an important phase for crops such as Jowar, wheat, gramme, and sugarcane. As the temperature dropped, people covered up in sweaters, warm garments, gloves, and scarves to stay warm. Following the winter season, the summer season lasts from February until May. Its hot and sunny weather promotes the cultivation of groundnuts, sunflowers, onions, and peanuts. Pollution is the contamination into the natural environment that causes adverse change. Pollution levels are increasing day by day. There are various reasons for it. Air pollution is caused chiefly by industrial pollutants and by increased levels of RSPM due to higher flow of vehicular traffic. Water pollution is caused to a large extent by industrial effluents and the immersion of POP idols. Sound pollution levels have increased due to blaring loudspeakers during festival time and increased volume of traffic. In order to solve the problems of air pollution, the chief method seems to be tree plantation. More and more citizens and NGO’s should take up green causes with civic authorities. We need to protect our forest and conserve our mangroves. In order to solve the problem of water pollution, we need to develop effective waste management techniques. Also eco-friendly idols should be used during festival time. An awareness in general populace is very necessary to solve the problem of sound pollution. Strict enforcement of decibel levels during occasions and festival time by the police is a must. |

Two common types of oils are animal oil and vegetable oil.
Some of the commonest
sources of animal oils are from the livers of the cod and halibut, two kinds of fish. These oils are very nourishing. They are a great source of vitamins, and hence are recommended for under nourished children. We get oil from other creatures as well, but it is the whale that yields the most. The whale has a thick coating of fat called blubber which protects it from the extreme cold of the Arctic seas. Whales are often hunted for this oil. To make this oil fit for human consumption blubber is stripped off from a dead whale and boiled, most often on board the ship.

Garbage disposal has become a great problem in urban areas. A lot of garbage is being collected from every household. Some cities have come up with innovative ideas to tackle this problem. First of all, the garbage in trucks is segregated into organic waste from recyclable waste. Then it is put in separate containers.
Earthworm culture is added to this organic waste. After a few weeks the conversion process is complete and what we can get is vermicompost which is a very good quality compost that can be mixed with soil and used for better yields.
