प्रश्न
The area of the curved surface of a cone is 60 cm2. If the slant height of the cone be 8 cm, find the radius of the base?
उत्तर
Given that
Curved surface area of cone =` 60picm^2`
∴ Slant height of cone (l) = 8cm
i.e , `pirl=60pi`
⇒ `pixxrxx8=60pi`
⇒` r=60/8=7.5`
∴ Radius of cone = 7.5cm
