Notes

Determinant of a matrix of order one:
Let A = [a] be the matrix of order 1, then determinant of A is defined to be equal to a
Determinant of a matrix of order two:
Let A =`[(a_11,a_12),(a_21,a_22)]` be a matrix of order `2 xx 2`,
then the determinant of A is defined as:

`det (A) = |A| = ∆ = |(a_11,a_12),(a_21,a_22)|` = `a_11a_22 - a_21a_12`
