Join each vertex of the hexagon to the centre of the circle.
The hexagon is made up of six triangles.
Total area of the design = Area of the circle - Area of six triangles
`[22/7xx35xx35]-[6xx(sqrt(3)/4xx35xx35)]`
`=(35xx35)[22/7-((6xx1.732)/4)]`
`= 12225 (22/7-2.598)`
= 1225xx0.542
= 663.95 cm2
