= `[ - 2x - (2x)^2/2 - (2x)^3/3 - (2x)^4/4 ....] - [2x- (2x)^2/2 + (2x)^3/3 - (2x)^4/4 ...]`

= `- 2x - (2x)^2/2 - (2x)^3/3 - (2x)^4/4 .... - 2x +(2x)^2/2 - (2x)^3/3+ (2x)^4/4 ...`

= `-2(2x + (2x)^3/3 + (2x)^5/5 + (2x)^7/7...)`

Hence |2x| < 1

⇒ |x| < `1/2`
