Question

A card is drawn at random from a pack of 52 cards. Find the probability that card drawn is black and a king

Solution

E⟶ event of getting black & a king.

No. of favourable outcomes = 2 {king of spades & clubs}

We know that, P(E) =`"No.of favorable outcomes"/"Total no.of possible outcomes"`

P(E) =2/52 =1/26
