Question
A triangle ABC is enlarged, about the point O as centre of enlargement, and the scale factor is 3. Find : BC, if B' C' = 15 cm.
Solution
Given that ABC is enlarged and the scale factor m = 3 to the triangle A'B'C'.
B'C' = 15 cm
So, BC(3) = B'C'
`=>` BC(3) = 15
`=>` BC = 5 cm
