Question
Bisect ∠XYZ of figure.
Solution
Steps of construction:
(i) With centre Y and any radius draw an arc which cuts ZY at P and XY at Q.
(ii) With centre Q and radius more than `1/2(hat(PQ))` draw an arc.
(iii) With centre P and same radius draw an arc which cuts the previously drawn arc at R.
(iv) Join YR and produce it to any point S. Thus `vec(YS)` is the bisector of ∠XYZ.
