Muscular strength is defined as the maximum amount of force that a muscle can exert against some form of resistance in a single effort. Strength exercise is any activity that makes your muscles work harder than usual. Examples of exercises that develop muscular strength include resistance training, such as weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, push-ups and pull-ups, heavy gardening, such as digging. The muscular strength reduces the risk of injury, help you keep a healthy body weight. The push-up test and handgrip dynamometer test are used to test muscular strength.
