Question
Find the curved surface area of a sphere of radius 1cm. (π = 3.14)
Solution
Curved surface area of sphere = 4πr2
= 4 × 3.14 × 12 (`because`r = 1 cm)
= 4 × 3.14 × 1
= 4 × 3.14
= 12.56 sq. cm
