Question

Find the median of 9, 3, 20, 13, 0, 7 and 10

Sum

Solution

9, 3, 20, 13, 0, 7 and 10

Arranging in ascending order: 0, 3, 7, 9, 10, 13, 20

Here, number of terms = 7 which is odd

∴ Median =`("n"+1)/2=(7+1)/2`th term = 4th term = 9

Hence, median = 9
