Question
Find the median of 5, 7, 9, 11, 15, 17, 2, 23 and 19.
Solution
5, 7, 9, 11, 15, 17, 2, 23 and 19
Arranging in ascending order: 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 15, 17, 19, 23
Here, number of terms = 9 which is odd
Median =`("n"+1)/2=(9+1)/2`th term = 5th term = 11
Hence, median = 11
