Question
Find:
The sub-duplicate ratio of the sub-triplicate ratio of 4096x6: 729y12.
Solution
The sub-triplicate ratio of 4096x6:729y12
= `root(3)(4096x^6) : root(3)(729y^12)`
= 16x2 : 9y4
∴ The sub-duplicate ratio of 16x2 : 9y4
= `sqrt(16x^2) : sqrt(9y^4)`
= 4x : 3y2.
