Question
Find the volume of a cylinder which has a base diameter cm and height 24cm.
Solution
Diameter of base = 14cm
∴ Radius (r) = 7cm
Height (h) = 24cm
Volume of cylinder
= π x r2 x h
= `(22)/(7) xx 7^2 xx 24`
= 3696cm3.
