Question
`sqrt7x^2-6x-13sqrt7=0`
Solution
We write,
`-66x=7x-13x ` as `sqrt7x^2xx(-13sqrt7)=91x^2=7x xx(-13x)`
∴`sqrt7x^2-6x-13sqrt7=0`
⇒`sqrt7x^2+7x-13x-13sqrt7=0`
⇒`sqrt7x(x+sqrt7)-13(x+sqrt7)=0`
⇒`(x+sqrt7)(sqrt7x-13)=0`
⇒`x+sqrt7=0` or `sqrt 7x-13=0`
⇒`x=-sqrt7 or x=13/sqrt7=(13sqrt7)/7`
Hence, the roots of the given equation are`-sqrt7` and `13/sqrt7/7`
