Solution

The pair of linear equations 2x = 5y + 6 and 15y = 6x – 18 represents two lines which are coincident.

Explanation:

Given, 2x = 5y + 6 or 2x – 5y – 6 = 0        ...(1)

and 15y = 6x – 18 or 6x – 15y – 18 = 0    ...(2)

Since, `2/6 = (-5)/(-15)`

= `(-6)/(-18)`

= `1/3`

∴ Lines are coincident.
