Question

The surface area of a sphere is 616 cm2 . Find its radius.

Answer in Brief

Solution

The surface area of sphere = 616k cm2

We know that

`4pir^2 = 616`

     `r^2 = (616)/(4pi)`

Taking squire root both the side

`sqrtr^2 = sqrt((616)/(4pi))`

     `r = 7 cm`
