There are 15 tickets bearing the numbers from 1 to 15 in a bag and one ticket is drawn from this bag at random. Write the sample space (S) and n(S).
Solution
Given that there are 15 tickets bearing the numbers from1 to 15 in a bag.
Hence, sample space can be written as :
S={1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8, 9,10,11,12,13,14,15}
n(S)=15
