Question
Three coins are tossed simultaneously. What is the probability of getting at most one tail?
Solution
For three coins, the total possible outcomes are 23 = 8 because each coin has 2 possible outcomes (Head or Tail).
The outcomes where exactly two tails occur are:
- TTH
- THT
- HTT
There are 3 outcomes with exactly two tails out of 8 total outcomes.
P (Exactly two tails)= `3/8`
