Why is the enzyme cellulase needed for isolating genetic material from plant cells and not form the animal cells?
Solution
Plant cells have cell wall made up of cellulose where as animal cells lack cell wall and do not contain cellulose. Therefore the enzyme cellulase is needed for isolating genetic material from plant cells only.
