Question
Write what you think about the following thoughts and actions of Mathilde :
Mathilde returned the diamond necklace to her friend.
Solution
I think it was her moral responsibility to return the borrowed diamond jewellery as soon as possible after the celebration, yet she hesitated. She did so to cover up the fact that she had lost her diamond necklace. Her carelessness caused her to make one more mistake.
