Movies on Sport:

  • A number of sports-related and player biopic films have recently been released in different languages.
  • Deep research into the language, trends, social life, etc. of the time period the movie is set in is necessary for the filmmaking process. History students are well-trained to do this sort of study.
  • Taking the movies Mary Kom and Dangal as examples.
  • Mary Kom is the first female boxer from India to compete in the Olympics and take home a medal.
  • The film Dangal is based on the life of the sisters Phogat, who were the first Indian women wrestlers to win gold medals in several international championships.
  • Other than this, there are several movies based on sports M.S. Dhoni: The untold Story, 83, Bhaag Milkha Bhag, etc.
