⇒ `[(2a - 2b, 2a - 2b),(2b + 8, 2a - 4)] = [(-2, -2),(14, 0)]`
Comparing the corresponding elements
2a – 4 = 0
⇒ 2a = 4
⇒ a = 2
2a – 2b = –2
⇒ 2 x 2 – 2b = –2
⇒ 4 – 2b = –2
⇒ –2b = –2 – 4 = –6
