Given data = 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 9 and 11
Clearly middle term = 5
∴ Median = 5
Mean = `"Sum of observations"/"Number of observation"`
`= (1 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 9 + 9 + 11)/7`
`= 42/7 = 6`
∴ Mean = 6
