प्रश्न

Find the length of the diagonal of a square whose area is `128 cm^2` Also, find its perimeter.

उत्तर

Area of the square= `128 cm^2`

Area =` 1/2 d^2` (where d is a diagonal of the square)

⇒` 128=1/2 d^2`

⇒` d^2=256`

⇒`d=16 cm`

Now,

`Area= "Side^2"`

⇒` 128= "side"^2`

⇒`" Side"= 11.31 cm`

Perimeter= `4` (side)

=`4(11.31)`

=`45.24 cm`
