Both internal and external sources of recruitment have their own merits and demerits. While choosing the right source of recruitment, the following factors should be considered (any five):
- Number of persons to be recruited.
- Type of staff to be recruited and the nature of the job to be filled in
- Time available for recruitment.
- Cost to be incurred on recruitment.
- The attitudes of present staff concerning different sources of recruitment.
- Management's policy concerning recruitment.
