Question

Check whether the following matrices are invertible or not:

`[(1, 1),(1, 1)]`

Sum

Solution

let A = `[(1, 1),(1, 1)]`

Then, |A| = `|(1, 1),(1, 1)|`
= 1 – 1
= 0
∴ A is a singular matrix.
∴ A is not invertible.
