Question
Construct a ∆ABC such that:
CB = 6.5 cm, CA = 4.2 cm and BA = 51 cm
Solution
Steps of Construction :
(i) Draw a line segment CB = 6.5 cm
(ii) With centre C and radius 4.2 cm draw an arc.
(iii) With centre B and radius 5.1 cm draw another arc intersecting the first arc at A.
(iv) Join AC and AB.
∆ ABC is the required triangle.
