Question
Construct a parallelogram ABCD. Given:
AB = 5.5cm, BC = 3.5cm, ∠B = 75°
Solution
AB = 5.5cm, BC = 3.5cm, ∠B = 75°
Since opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal;
AB = DC = 5.5cm and BC = AD = 3.5cm
Steps of Construction:
1) Taking AB = 5.5cm, BC = 3.5cm and ∠B = 75°, construct triangle ABC.
2) Now, construct triangle ADC.
3) ABCD is the required parallelogram.
