Draw the graphs of the following linear equations:
3x + 2y - 6 = 0

Solution

3x + 2y - 6 = 0
⇒ 3x + 2y = 6
⇒ 2y = 6 - 3x

⇒ y = `(6 - 3x)/(2)`
Corresponding values of x and y can be tabulated as follows :

X 0 1 -1
Y 3 1.5 4.5

Plotting the points (0, 3), (1, 1.5) and (-1, 4.5),
we get the following graph :
