Question
Find the slope of the line which is perpendicular to `x/3 - 2y = 4`
Solution
`x/3 - 2y = 4`
`2y = x/3 - 4`
`y = x/6 - 2`
Slope of this line = `1/6`
Slope of the line which is perpendicular to the given line
= `(-1)/"Slope of this line"`
= `(-1)/(1/6)`
= −6
