Question
Find the total cost of wooden fencing around a circular garden of diameter 28 m, if 1 m of fencing costs ₹ 300.
Solution
Given, diameter of a circular garden = 28 m
Length of the fencing = Circumference of circle
= πd
= `22/7` × 28
= 88 m
∴ Total cost of fencing = 88 × 300 = ₹ 26400.
