If a = 3, b = 0, c = 2 and d = 1, find the value of 3a + 2b − 6c + 4d

Sum

Solution

3a + 2b − 6c + 4d

= 3 × 3 + 2 × 0 − 6 × 2 + 4 × 1

= 9 + 0 − 12 + 4

= 9 + 0 − (12 − 4)

= 9 − 8

= 1
