Question
In a polygon, there are 5 right angles and the remaining angles are equal to 195o each. Find the number of sides in the polygon.
Solution
Therefore,
Sum of interior angles = (n − 2)180°
Given that there are 5 right angles.
Sum of interior angles = 5 × 90° + (n − 5)195°
⇒ (n − 2)180° = 450° + (n − 5)195°
⇒ 180 n − 360° = 450° + 195 n − 975°
⇒ 195 n − 180 n = 525° − 360°
`=> "n" = (165°)/(15°)`
⇒ n = 11
