Question

In how many ways can a football team of 11 players be selected from 16 players? How many of them will exclude 2 particular players?

Sum

Solution

Given that the total number of players = 16

We have to select 11 players out of 16 players.

If 2 players are excluded

Then the number of ways of selection = `""^(16 - 2)"C"_11`

= 14C11

Hence, the required number of ways of selection 14C11
