In quadrilateral ABCD, side AB is the longest and side DC is the shortest.
Prove that: C > A.
Solution
In the quadrilateral ABCD,
Since AB is the longest side and DC is the shortest side.
∠1 > ∠2 [ AB > BC ]
∠ 7 > ∠4 [ AD > DC ]
∴ ∠1 + ∠7 > ∠2 + ∠4
⇒ ∠C > ∠A.
