`"2z" - 2 1/2 = 3 1/3`
⇒`"2z" - 2 1/2 + 2 1/2 = 3 1/3 + 2 1/2` ..(Adding `2 1/2` to both sides)
⇒ 2z = `10/3 + 5/2`
⇒ `(20 + 15)/6 = 35/6`
⇒ `"2z"/2 = 35/(6 xx 2)` ....(Dividing by 2)
⇒ z = `35/12 = 2 11/12`
