Solve the following inequation: 3x – 36 > 0
Solution
3x – 36 > 0
Adding 36 both sides , we get
3x – 36 + 36 > 0 + 36
∴ 3x > 36
Dividing both sides by 3, we get
`(3"x")/3>36/3`
∴ x > 12
∴ x takes all real values more than 12
∴ Solution set = `(12, oo)`
