The area of a right-angled triangle is 160 cm2. If its one leg is 16 cm long, find the length of the other leg.
Solution
Area of the right-angled triangle = 160 cm2
Let base (one side) = 16 cm
∴ Altitude (second side)
= `("Area"xx2)/"Base"=(160xx2)/16=320/16` = 20 cm
