Solution
Let the number = x
According to the condition
`"x" - 1/4"x" = 24`
`=> ("4x - x")/"x" = 24`
`=> "3x"/4 = 24`
`=> "x" = 24xx4/3`
`=> "x" = 8 xx 4`
⇒ x = 32
∴ Number = 32
