In ΔDCA and ΔDAB, we have
∠DCA = ∠DAB (Each equals to 90°)
∠CDA = ∠ADB (common angle)
∴ ΔDCA ~ ΔDAB [By AA similarity criterion]
`⇒ (DC)/(DA) = (DA)/(DA)`
⇒ AD2 = BD × CD
