Question
A car travels 1 km distance in which each wheel makes 450 complete revolutions. Find the radius of wheel.
Solution
Let radius of wheel = ‘r’ m
Circumference of wheel = (2๐r)m.
No. of revolutions = 450
Distance for 450 revolutions = 450 × 2๐๐ = 900๐๐ ๐
distance travelled = 1000 m.
900๐r = 1000
r = 10000 9๐ × 100
`=10/(9pi)` ๐
=`1000/(9pi)` ๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ (๐) =`1000/(9pi)`๐๐๐
