Solution
Dr. Kemp is an honest, hardworking, successful and respected person. When he meets Griffin for the first time, he is frightened by the intensity of Griffin’s behaviour. However, he is calm and composed. He listens to Griffin’s grotesque plan of controlling everyone using his invisibility with some aid from Kemp. Kemp carefully extracts all the information from Griffin about the experiment and its outcome and then informs the police. When the police arrives, Griffin escapes. Kemp shares all the facts with the Colonel and both of them together lay out a plan to capture Griffin. Griffin attacks Kemp’s house. The character of Kemp has been portrayed as a truthful and honest person. His unwillingness to help Griffin in his foul plans highlights his integrity and strength. He is reflected as a polite, compassionate man who cares even for the safety of his servants.
