Question

Answer the following question in 120-150 words:

Lammeter sisters have money but not class or education. What do you think about them?

Answer in Brief

Solution

Nancy belongs to a wealthy family of Raveloe. She is a very beautiful young lady whom Godfrey loves very much and later marries. She is a very caring person and an efficient homemaker. She is a little stubborn as far as her code of behaviour is concerned. Nancy has inherited strict moral values from her father and looks down upon Godfrey’s moral weakness but is happy that he shows interest in her. She herself is very honest and truthful and abhors dishonesty and immoral conduct. Her strict code of behaviour forbids her from adopting a child even when her marriage to Godfrey remains childless. Priscilla is labeled as an excellent house wife and cheerful as well. She herself calls herself ugly but does not bother about that. She only wants to keep her family happy. Priscilla can be called as the wealthier version of Dolly Winthrop. She is hard working.
Nancy and Priscilla are sisters but have contrasting looks and character also. But both are good at heart.
