3y2 – y – 4 = 0
Solution
3y2 – y – 4 = 0 ÷ 3
`y^2 - y/3 - 4/3` = 0
`y^2 - (1/3)y + ((-4)/3)` = 0
∴ α + β = `(1)/(3)`
αβ = `(-4)/(3)`
