`|(1,2),(2 , -3)|_(2 xx 2) |("x"),("y")|_(2 xx 1) = |(-1) , (12)|_(2 xx 1)`
`|("x" + 2"y"),(2"x" - 3"y")| = |(-1) , (12)|`
x + 2y = -1 - (1)
⇒ X = -1 - 2y
2x - 3y = 12 -(2)
Putting the value of x in (2)
2 (-1 - 2y) -3y = 12
⇒ -7y = 14
⇒ y = -2
from (1)
x + 2(-2) = -1
⇒ x = -1+4
⇒ x = 3
