Solution

A = $[\begin{matrix} - 3 & 6 \\ 0 & - 9 \end{matrix}]$

A^t = $[\begin{matrix} - 3 & 0 \\ 6 & - 9 \end{matrix}]$

2A + 3A^t = $2 [\begin{matrix} - 3 & 6 \\ 0 & - 9 \end{matrix}] + 3 [\begin{matrix} - 3 & 0 \\ 6 & - 9 \end{matrix}]$

= $[\begin{matrix} - 6 & 12 \\ 0 & - 18 \end{matrix}] + [\begin{matrix} - 9 & 0 \\ 18 & - 27 \end{matrix}]$

= $[\begin{matrix} - 6 - 9 & 12 + 0 \\ 0 + 18 & - 18 - 27 \end{matrix}]$

= $[\begin{matrix} - 15 & 12 \\ 18 & - 45 \end{matrix}]$
